UX Research & Product Research

Designed, led, and conducted user experience (UX) research for a National Institute within the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to inform and apply human-centered design to the digital transformation work, website redesign, and content strategy.

Designed both in person and asynchronous UX research and usability studies that were used to inform all aspects of the website redesign for an Initiative under the National Institutes of Health (NIH), including accessiblity, visual design, and information architecture.

Conducted user research, ethnographic research,
learning sciences research,
and qualitative interviews to inform the design of 3 edtech product certifications while at Digital Promise.

Created the Readiness Audit
for edtech products to determine which stage of research their products were prepared for next in their product development journey toward efficacy.

Designed and conducted the entire feasibility study for a company that was delivered
to the US Department of Education resulting in their advancement to Phase II
grant funding.

Led and conducted the research for the Adult Learner Model which identifies strategies and factors that impact a unique learners' connected strengths and needs to inform technology development and learning experience design.

Conducted UX research, interviews, and learning sciences research to write 56 unique books for educators that were published by Learning Works and Creative Teaching Press.

Led and conducted mixed methods research to design and develop educational products, design creative learning experiences, and
build the first school-based Makerspace in Orange County, California.
